We finally got Moriah's full name. It is Moriah Abigail Elisabeth Doran. Moriah means "God is my teacher" Abigail means "Father is rejoicing" Elisabeth means "Consecrated to God".
Moriah is 5 days old now. The midwife was here yesterday and she is almost back up to her birth weight. She is 9lbs 12 oz. Two more oz and she'll be 9lbs and 14 oz again! Whew! two more oz and she would have weighted as much as Elijah did when he was born!
She is a really good baby. Sleeps well and is content to look around when she is awake and not nursing. Elijah and Alana love her and are excited she is here. Yesterday One of the church ladies came over with a meal. Moriah was sleeping in the other room. We were talking and looked up and there was Elijah holding Moriah! He was wanting to show her off too, but quickly got talked to about only holding her when Mommy or Daddy is helping him etc.
The other day Alana got their toy video camera and was taping Moriah. That was cute! We got some pics of that. Daddy and the kids have been very helpful after Moriah was born. Elijah thought it was his job to bring me my drink whenever I was thirsty the first few days and was upset if I got it myself! lol It has been a blessing to have Jacob working out of home. He has been here to take care of the kids and we all know that is work! Especially 3 kids under 4 yrs. The ladies of the church have been bringing a meal every night so we hadn't had to cook a meal since Moriah has been born. That's been SUCH a blessing. This is the best I've ever felt after having a baby. I was even able to walk by myself the first day and haven't had any problems with getting dizzy. Praise the Lord! So we are all adjusting well and are very, very happy with our "even" family of 2 boys and 2 girls.
