Today was the day Elijah did his last Phonics paper for 2nd grade!!! Yesterday we went over his last Math paper. Yeah!!!!!! We have about a week left of history and just over a week of health and about 2 wks left of reading then we will be DONE until fall! Alana did her last class on DVD today. We have one wk left of papers and she will be done. :D
It was trying at times to school Elijah, but worth it. We have gotten closer and have come to enjoy doing school (most of the time.) And Elijah is really beginning to enjoy reading! *happy sigh*
My next projects are to get all the summer clothes out for the kids and plant my garden before we leave for AK. Yep, we are getting to go to AK in June. God worked it out so that we didn't have to pay for any of the tickets. We have an AK airlines card that we have been using for yrs and finally got enough miles to get a few free tickets. With Jessa's wedding coming up, I thought it would be a good yr to use them. :) We are looking forward to getting to go up to AK. It is going to be sooo much fun!
Ok, I'm going to go and start sorting through some boys clothes.

We love you both, Jacob and Rebekah! The day after you married, the ice on the river broke up and began to move out. This year, we are waiting for the ice to break once more. The ice is looking rotten, if you ask me.
