Off to Havard!

Well, I thought that I would post one more post until we are back from Havard. We will leave tomorrow and be back sometime Saturday and crash I'm sure!

I made a rubarb crisp for tonights thing. Since it was the 5th wed. of the month we usually have a fun night headed off by the VLB leaders, but tonight we decided to do a little fun raiser for World Missions. So we all brought a dessert and we all "paid" to have a dessert feast. It was fun. The kids LOVED it. I also made pumkin bread to bring with us to Havard and share. So right now our house smells like pumkin bread. Mmmmm....

I'm hoping to get up in time tomorrow to plant some starters for the garden this year. I showed the kids how to start a starter from another plant this week. They enjoyed seeing a root starting to grow.

Alana is now insisting that she is a "lady". I tell her that she is a little lady and she is happy with that.

I got a compliment while I was in town the other day. Made me feel good. I was checking out of a store and was making small talk with the clerk. She asked me how old Moriah was etc. When she found out I had 4 kids, her eyes got real wide and she said that I looked real good for having four kids. That made my day!

The kids and I made Strawberry Rubarb Jam the other day. They had a blast and have been enjoying eating it too!

Well, I think my washer is done so I can put another load in and go to bed. So goodnight! Paul, if you read this, Alana is really looking forward to seeing you. *smile* See you all soon in Havard! We'll be sure to bring some games!

OK, so I've never seen it spelled. I just was sounding it out. I must not of been hearing it right. No i'm not going to college, we are going to a small town in MT.

I knew what you were talking about Rebekah. The only reason that I knew how to spell it is because I've seen it written out many times, plus, I looked it up on the map when we were planning our trip to see you guys, just to see if it would be possible for Amanda to make the trip for the revival. Anyway...have a wonderful time!
